The Everett Theater Society announces the first ever appearance of Mercury recording artist, Frank D’Rone, on the Historic Everett Theater stage on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Call 425-258-6766 for ticket information. A long-term resident of Chicago, D’Rone is a cultural treasure – a laudable jazz singer and guitarist whose great voice, musicianship, commanding stage presence, and ability to interpret a song lyric have made him a master of the Great American Songbook. With D’Rone is a trio of distinguished, first-call musicians. Bob Hammer, pianist, is a veteran of the New York studio, television, and jazz scene, Larry Holloway, one of the most in-demand bassists in the Northwest, and drummer Ray Price, who spent many years with artists such as Oscar Peterson, George Shearing, and the big band of Stan Kenton
